Yuvraj Disappointed by losing Captaincy




The Indian middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh is dissappointed by loosing the KIngs XI Punjab captaincy he spoke during an interview to a news chanel.
"Not being the captain is always a disappointment and it has happened in the past also. You just take it in your stride and do the best you can," said Yuvraj.
"Sangakkara is the new captain and he has led Sri Lanka for a quite a while now. He will definitely do a better job than me," he added.
In the interview he also said that he was given ant reason why was he being removwd from captaincy by the Franchise owner.

English counties tie up with IPL teams


After Hampsire joins hands with Rajasthan Royals it could well be that now Surrey might become the second English club to secure formal links with an IPL franchise, possibility of a tie-up with the Delhi Daredevils or the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Other counties have also started contacting the IPL franchises to join the hands together.With this move both IPL and English Counties would benefit as it would promote cricket in all spheres

2 more team are confirmed to be added in the 4th season of IPL . Top business houses and owners are lining up for the teams' auction when it takes place next month.
Business houses like the Hero Honda, Sahara and Poonawala have shown interest in owning an IPL team
It is learnt that the two new teams, based on city-based franchises, would be from Ahmedabad and Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh.
The base price for the two new teams has been set at $225 million.

IPL ready to share Security Plan




After being pressurized from Australia and New Zealand Board the IPL3 organizers have agreed to share the security plan 
There has been considerable worry that outfits like the Shiv Sena may target Australian cricketers after repeated attacks on Indians down under.
The Indian Home Minister P.Chidambram has assured of giving full security to all teams and players.Now with security plans being worked lets hope the players from both countries would feel safe and would come to play.
